New hard drive: WD Red or WD RE?

Hi everybody.
I'm new to the forum. I love this firmware, that's what I was searching for since my ns2 became mine.

Now my doubt. :thinking
My original hard drive (barracuda green 2 TB) is starting making some bad noise with torrent manager on, due probably to overheating.
I want to replace it before it die.

What's the best choice?

WD Red
Pro
- Less heating
- Less expensive

WD RE
Pro
- Higher reliability supposed (MTBF, etc.)

What's your suggestion?
I'm thinking about the 3 TB model. The price isn't really a problem, but only if worth it.

Thank you

Coming from the noise perspective, the RE drives are quite noisy. I recently fitted a few in a computer for a RAID 1, and they are very noisy compared to the old Seagate Barracudas that had been in that computer since 2010.

EDIT: I've used more WD Reds than RE, the Reds are quiet and I haven't had a failure yet.
