This was from the release notes for 15-1:

- several tools for wifi (usb) dongles setup

Does this mean there's an easy way to enable wireless networking for our nwsp2's now?

I have an ar9271-enabled dongle. Will it work?

Thanks, mate! I found this if it helps: http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/ath9k

How will I go about configuring the NAS after loading the driver?

My stick is a TL-WN722N listed here: http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Dri ... tc/devices

I will recompile the kernel, linux 3.9.5 seems to have support for this device.
I will sent the new trial kernel by pm

How good are your linux skills

Pretty basic, I guess. Never done any compiling and stuff by myself. I am guessing I have to configure the wlan adapter via terminal in some way, not via webgui.. Can I install the new kernel without having to reflash the whole thing?

I just sent you a pm,

no need to reflash the whole thing but it will need writing a new kernel to disk (not too difficult) I added the instruction in the pm

i tried the console method (1), but keep getting this error:

I'd like to try that before writing the image to the disk. Any suggestions?

I did some google research on this error. Are you using windows 8.1 ?

(seems I need to update my cygwin version)
