bigger harddrive?

Hi! I've been following this project for a while, and it seems exiting. I haven't gotten around to trying the beta yet, but I'm looking for a suitable hard drive.
Do you have any recommendations? My NS2 was fitted with a Seagate 7200.12 1TB. Can I step up to a 3GB one? Do I have to be careful about heat? I would also like one that's at least as quiet as the Seagate, if not more. I've been experiencing clicking sounds from the current drive, and I've seen this mentioned by others on the web as well..

To my knowledge ext3 supports 3 GB disk and thats the format used in the firmware to format the data partition.
I exchanged the HDD in the nwsp2 by a a Western Digital green caviar 2 TB. It runs only on 5400 rpm and as result energy consumption is less but more important also the heat. Which is important as the nwsp2 has no fan. Furthermore I am putting the nwsp2 on it side. Until today the HDD temp of the WD 2 TB disk did not exceed 44 oC.
File transfer speed is still very acceptable with this drive typical 25 to 40 MB/s for bigger files using a gigabit network.

To be hones I like a seagate disk more then a WD when talking on lifetime expectations, but thats more because of my good experiences I have had in the past with seagate drives.
