I have installed the 14.00 alternative firmware.
No problem for the installation but :

I can't write on my Nas
I can't create USB (it works but after no disk image créated)

it is a problem of autorization ??

Maybe the data partition is not mounted. So please post a screen capture when you want to create a new share like this one :

The data partition is mounted so you should be able to write on your NAS. Could you explain more this

Do you use public or private shares ?
do you have create user accounts ?

How your NAS is plugged ? (network LAn port or directly to a PC via back USB port)

But i see this morning the nas and the folders and i can write yet
