So the FTP daemon seems running

What FTP client do you use for trying to login you?

Do you use http://net2ftp.com for tests?
If so, with your settings you must add the IP mask: "178.63.69." in the filter field

In the FTP access menu, do you have user account names which are listed .

Finally, what are the messages in the FTP log?

See you later... ;)

Ok, that worked :) I can connect using net2ftp. However, somehow I can't connect to "vermeij.dyns.cx" when using Filezilla (with my local IP it works fine). Is this because I'm already in the network?

Thanks for all the help!

Glad you're almost done ... :D

Generally, NAT loopback (try to access its own server from the LAN with your DNS) is not authorized by a router to avoid getting into a possible endless loop and cause a crash/reboot of the router.

Alternatively see with a passive mode if you can get FTP access:

Well, just tried with some friend who I wanted to give access to the NAS and it worked. So no need to test it myself, thanks again for all your help and patience :)
