Postby bozo29 » Mon Jul 22, 2013 1:15 pm

:scratch Is it possible to put somehow PartedMagic.iso or Clonezilla.iso on my nwsp2 and boot my laptop with LAN PXE and load one of them (PartedMagic or Clonezilla)? :scratch

Any help is welcome.

Hi Bozo29,

I don't know only test can valid this. But I can tell you that I use some iso files saved on my nwsp2 mounted on virtual disks with my notebook (can use data files or run exec files)

After reading some pages, seems that you need a PXE server to do what you want...but also a DHCP server and Tftp

Currently our firmware does not implement a DCHP server and PXE :whistle

Some idea here : http://damsteen.nl/blog/how-to-set-up-a ... dhcp-bootp

Hi Jocko,

Thanks for your answer.
Meanwhile I read some documentation and found something that fits my router, but it's not easy at all. :hammerhead
I have an Asus RT-N66U, TomatoUSB installed on it and i will try to do a PXE server on it via optware.
Thanks again for the reply and if I manage to do this I will notify you.
