Yes the output is normal.

Please run the installer again but do not give command reboot -f
Do this
Code: Select all
mount /dev/sda5 /sda5
ls -al /sda5

During the installation process look closely to the tftpd32 window when the firmware archive is uploaded, there must be transferred about 80 MB

Tried to watch the ttftpd window, but it flashes past really quickly.

Here is the log from ttftpd log window (I cleared the log when the master boot record was being deleted to keep the length down)

Should "firmware/fvdw-sl-18-1-base-v2-29jul19.files.tar.gz" be zero bytes on my pc? (in the tftp/firmware folder)

The firmware image is not sent
Using local port 50812 [20/11 19:06:35.752]
<firmware\fvdw-sl-18-1-base-v2-29jul19.files.tar.gz>: sent 1 blk, 0 bytes in 0 s. 0 blk resent [20/11 19:06:35.752

0 bytes sent
Have a look in the folder firmware/ on your pc a subfolder of where you installed the fvdw-sl console and see what size the file fvdw-sl-18-1-base-v2-29jul19.files.tar.gz is.

Now it is working!!!

Changes this time....

1 - When downloading the firmware 5 rar files, I clicked "save link as" rather than just clicking on them and letting chrome download them. (not sure if this makes a difference, but have found some websites recommending it in the past)

2 - Used "7-Zip" to unpack them rather than "PeaZip"

Not sure which worked, but it worked!!!!!

Many thanks for your help Fvdw and Jocko!!!
