Jocko wrote:I rechecked the pyload script and yes you can uninstall pyload without losing your downloading files and install it again.
So do
Code: Select all
pyload uninstall

pyload install

Note: no need to download again the addon package if you kept the tar file pyload.tar in the addons folder.

Thanks jocko , now it works again everything perfect.

Hi raffio,

pyload is installed as an addon on your NAS so the command line given in the web-interface can not be used directly (need to give the full path of pyLoadCore.py).

To add an user, the right command is:
Code: Select all
python /direct-usb/fvdw/addons/pyload/pyLoadCore.py -u

Code: Select all
root@Acrab:/ # python /direct-usb/fvdw/addons/pyload/pyLoadCore.py -u
Select action
1 - Create/Edit user
2 - List users
3 - Remove user
4 - Quit
[1]/2/3/4: 1

Username [User]: Jocko
Password:
Password (again):
Select action
1 - Create/Edit user
2 - List users
3 - Remove user
4 - Quit
[1]/2/3/4: 2

Users
-----
admin
Jocko

Select action
1 - Create/Edit user
2 - List users
3 - Remove user
4 - Quit
[1]/2/3/4: 4

pyload doesn't use this mechanism and can not be implemented. You might do it only when you try to access via the proxy gateway as in this case you use apache server like a mandatory server.

Thanks Jocko, it worked perfectly.

Add that to work you have to stop the demon first with:
Code: Select all
pyload stop

Thanks

hi raffio,

No need to use a cron job. Information is available with the short help
Code: Select all
root@Acrab:/ # pyload help
Usage /usr/bin/pyload [ start | stop | status | install | uninstall | boot_status ]

status   display if pyload is running or not

boot_status      enable/disable pyload at the next booting

root@Acrab:/ # pyload boot_status
pyload enable at the next boot
root@Acrab:/ # pyload boot_status
pyload not enable at the next boot

Hi raffio,

I am not a pyload user but it contains many supports for download platforms and I think you can reuse your accounts set for your download platforms to download directly the files.

But I can not say more thing.
