VPN server Routing/bridge modes for accessing local LAN

Hi!

Is there a way to use the VPN server to acces local LAN resource? IE another computer in the LAN.

Here a good example:

I would like to configure my Apple time capsule with the airport utility installed on my iphone via cellular. This would allow me the change some option like firewall rules on the go with my iphone or from outside. Unfortunately , this option is only possible trhough local lan access. So , why not try the VPN? What I did:

connect my iphone (cellular) via VPN to the VPN server. Allow ALL traffic to be sent through it (option on the VPN client of the iphone...) Everything is working fine. When I started the airport utility on my iphone , I couldn't see the airport time capsule. Then I was thinking that the option to "enable relay of broadcast" must be enable but I was wrong.

Is there a way to route / bridge the inbound VPN traffic to local LAN or the VPN only allow to connect to other VPN client connected on the same server?

If I understand you well is what you trying to do is access the LAN by using the vpn connection between your phone and the nas. In principle the purpose of vpn is to prevent that. But I think by setting up a route table it should be possible. Also connecting the pc in the lan to the same vpn network set up by the nas should enable you to see them via vpn I think (never tried this myself). For this last option you will need a vpn client on these pc's to be able to connect to the vpn server
