Problem with folders erasing in Public one

Problem with folders erasing in Public one

Postby silver1974 » Mon Dec 19, 2011 6:54 am

I use the Transmission to download the files directly to Public folder. If the torrent consists of folder, I can not subsequently erase this folder.
To erase such folders in Public I log as root with SSH (PuTTY) and use command “chmod 777 /dev/share/1000/public/Folder_name” and then I can erase the folder from the share in Windows.
Is it possible to fix this problem? It isn't terrible, of course, but not so conveniently.

Hi silver,

You can also use the backup menu to restore full permission (select the share "public" (or a subfolder) as destination folder and click on the button "Assign Read/Write permission..."
