this is funny so now what is the content of /md4/shares ?

intead of only the folder "1" you have now more folders ?

does '3" or "4" contain a folder "Update"

this autopdate seems to come from the update you started. I think no harm will be done if you delete that file 5bignetwork2_2.2.12.2.xml an reboot and see if it wants to talk to you again

you mean talk via Console or on the normal way?

the command to reboot the Lacie from terminal, is?

if that doens't bring your nas back to normal operation (lacie firmware) I suggest following

create a folder with name Update in /md4/shares/4

Code: Select all
mkdir /md4/shares/4/Update

unpack the lacie capsule in the zip file I will post in the tftp folder of the fvdw-sl console

change to created folder

Code: Select all
cd /md4/shares/4/Update


upload the capsule

Code: Select all
tftp -r 5big-Network-2_2.2.10.1.capsule -l 5big-Network-2_2.2.10.1.capsule -g ip-pc


you should now have a a file with this name in the /md4/shares/4/Update folder
if so let the nas reboot and see what happens
