Crashplan ?

Crashplan ?

I have an SPD8020 for years now and do follow your custom firmware for years too ! Great

Recently my interest goes to Crashplan (http://www.code42.com/)
A soft that allows remote encrypted backup.
One can also allow friends to use your free disk space for their remote encrypted backups and vice versa
It seems possible to have crashplan installed on a raspberry pi (http://www.bionoren.com/blog/2013/02/raspberry-pi-crashplan/)

Would it be possible to have it installed on the SPD8020 custom firmware too ? Or do you see a limit somewhere ?

Thanks for you evaluation.

Hi GeeVee,

I am afraid there a resource problem.
sync/share seems to be similar than other features like btsync, owncloud, ... which use too many ressources for SPD8020.

Note: with nwsp1 and SPD8020, when you encrypt your backup you get a ridiculous transfer speed :whistle
