ok, compiler is running, also I could try to get the G762 driver for fan control in linux-2.6.39.4, but it would be nice to get linux-3.9.5 running as it is much newer kernel

A new kernel with adapted pci setup is coming up in a few minutes

If that doesn't work either I am going to check in detail the kernel config...

yeah, give some time to prepare another one, I am doing a clean compile right now to eliminate leftovers of earlier trials, sometimes those give problems
