Hi !! Firmware upgrade from 5.1 to 15

@fvdw,
I don't send yet this update. (and it's why I wanted that almo65 installs version 10.1 before 15.0 : no mixing potential issues...)

Currently, the installed version should be 10.1 for nwsp1 after using the firmware Lacie menu of the version 9.0.
So if almo65 succeeded to do this step, platform file should contain nwsp1 instead of phn :scratch

@almo65
could you post the filename of the firmware image that you used to install version 10.1 ?

Ok you used a wrong firmware image :whistle (for Philips SPD8020 NAS)

You must install again the firmware image version 10.1 for nwsp1. Download the file from viewtopic.php?f=7&t=235#p1493.

Before installing it do in Putty :
Code: Select all
rm /lacie-boot/sda1boot
.
Reboot the NAS to downgrade the firmware version to 9.0
Close all browser window and open again your browser (it must ask you authenticate)

So go to the Lacie firmware upgrade menu and upload the firmware image (bin file)

And post (after the last reboot)
Code: Select all
cat /boot.log
and
Code: Select all
cat /etc/platform
