I have to admin that I have NO CLUE about the cron scheduler.
Has anybody some usefull applications, scripts, tipps and hints for me ?
It seems to be a powerfull feature but without any knowledge I'm lost.

google cron examples and you get lots of info
Its a task scheduler and indeed a powerful tool. Be aware that cron runs as superuser (root) and as such can also easily cause damage to your files and data if you use a wrong command
