Install from Linux command line

Postby mdg69 » Sun Feb 25, 2024 5:00 pm

Hi,
First of all let me congratulate for the tremendous work you made on this NAS software. Really amazing.
I was wondering if it si possible to install from Linux CLI, or under macOS, since I only such kind of OS.
I would like to avoid to have the installer running on a virtual machine like UTM.

Thank in advance for your support and collaboration.

We can provide an iso disk image file that you can write to a harddisk using linux, windows mac assuming you are familiar how to do that. On which device do you want to install the firmware?

on a 2big2 or 2bignas. There is nothing to do on the bootloader side. The firmware can start with the default bootloader env
