5big office+ compatibility of fvdw-sl

Hello,

i have a 5big office+ windows based nas.

i would like to make it a ftp and syncthing bridge + i prefer linux.

is your firmware compatible?

i downloaded the console, but can't see my box.

Hi

Your device has probably an intel or amd cpu. At least not an ARM cpu. Our firmare is currently setup for nas devices with ARM cpu. So on this moment nas devices using other cpu's like intel and amd are not yet supported. However we are planning to do a project to add them (based on linux). However this will not be on short notice.

it's an atom d510 cpu.

how can i be kept informed of a solution?

i can't find a way to boot this unit other than windows server 2008 r2.

we have a working version but it needs some fine tuning, furthermore it will not be released for free as a lot of work has been put in, as such it will come with a key for personal use
