hi Maxiride
As you need to make a donation to get an account for this DDNS provider, I can not test on my side.
Anyhow it is not a port issue because the request is sent from the NAS to the provider. (open a port on a ISP box is mainly required when you want to get an access on the NAS from the WAN)
First check if the daemon /usr/bin/ez-ipupdate is still running :
- Code: Select all
ps aux
you should see a line with this binary.
If not whereas you enabled it from the LAN setup menu that would means it fails to connect to the provider server (it aborts after several tries)
To get some traces :
- disable the ddns service
- start debug mode
- Code: Select all
/etc/nas_status.sh --start-debug
- enable again the ddns service
- wait around 30min
- read the content of
- Code: Select all
cat /var/log/messages
Note: if you did not, please to install all patches available from
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2326 (one fixes an issue related with the Lan setup menu )
