Forgotten Twonky user/pw

Just a hint:

If you gave a user/pw to your Twonky server and forgot these access data you can do the following:

stop Twonky server by the NAS webinterface
log on you NAS with Putty
go to direktory /share/1000/twonkymedia/var/twonkymedia/

1. rename twonkymedia-server.ini into twonkymedia-server.old (then your Twonky is like a new Twonky, all settings have to be made)
2. delete the PW in twonkymedia-server.ini by editing the file

Exit Putty
Start the Twonky Server

Note for version 16.0.

if you use an old twonky version 7 (<7.5.2), at the first boot after upgrading the firmware, this one is updated with the newest version.

Since version 16.0, by default twonky 7 (version 7.2.5.2) uses a login to get an access to the settings pages. This is done for safety goal with the proxy feature.

But in the help page, I forgot :whistle to put the default credential : login=admin and pwd=tw1234

! if you enable the proxy feature (in the setup menu)
You must set custom credentials and never without credentials
Indeed, if you open the port 80 or 443 on your router, every one can get an access for the twonky settings pages
