FTP access to download firmware files

would it be possible to create an FTP site (secured) to download the FW files ?
It's just a request for a favour.

By mounting the firmware image, you can already get access on the firmware files.

I think he means that besides the possibility to download them from the forum to have the possibility download them via a FTP server, so we need to activate a FTP server.

I recently hav to load 3 seperate files on the forum and link them together again. As I have 3 different models it's not a big job but it's inconvinient (to me).
That's the only reason why I ask for complete files, either by downloading its on the forum or by FTP.
