install wakeonlan packet ?

Hi,

I've been reading through http://plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=275&p=1765&hilit=wol#p1765 and i can't get the script to work, eventhough I modified the variables to suit my needs.

Odd enough i can wake up my PCs after installing the wakeonlan packet on ubuntu using

wakeonlan xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx

I'd like do that from the nas via a cron task, so what i should do to download and install this wakeonlan packet.

nevermind my previous request : i managed to make it work using the broadcast adress of my subnet (192.168.1.255) instead of a targeted IP adress (as seen in the script). Default ocket number set to "9" and the correct mac adress where of course mandatory.
