I used linux kernel and sda5 image file from package. i was trying to connect via browser on http://fvdw-base bud nothing. I have changed workgroup on my pc on MSHOME (according to the manual). strange, if the blue only blinks a few seconds and then is steady, most of the time means that the kernel is not loaded. Then it won't boot.
Whta kind of switch is on the back side of your network space, a push button or a button with can be set to 0 or 1 ?

a button with 0 and 1 possitions. When i download upgrade package inside i found uimage file. I need to put it on nas anyway? or it is inside of fvdw-sl-10xxxx ? In the manual there is nothing about it

---------

I scanned the network but no luck.

a switch for power on and off, indeed then it is a nwsp1. The uIimage file in the package contains the kernel. It must be written to sda6 using the dd command If you did not do that then the nas won't boot.

In the guide it is described in point (k)

...
(k) Write uIimage-26331-6-nwsp1 (compressed linux kernel image) to sdb6
Now you need the file uImage-26331-6-nwsp1, write this to partition sdb6:
dd if=/path-to-uImage/uImage-26331-6-nwsp1 of=/dev/sdb6

...
