Networkspace v1 problem

Hey guys!!
First for all sorry for my english im from poland...
Firstly thaks for developing firmware for networkspace im really glad :) but theres a problem... my networkspace ip address is 244.0.0.251 instead of 192.168.0.251 whould you explain me why and how to change it?

It starts with 244 and thats not a normal IP address used in a LAN, looks more like an internet IP address. Do you use a router in between your PC and internet connection ?

Between pc and internet yes. There is linksys router. But i connect lacie straight to the computer. Is there any posibility to change ip without lacie web interface? Please Hellp!

With NWSP vs1 you can't plugged directly !

Ok i connect it with network cable ended with RJ45 connector. With this cable i connct pc and my lacie. Now if my lan interface on pc have same ip as lacie it should work. But when i scan whole network ip scanner is showing "one hidden device" on 224.0.0.251:/ ok in the xml file in /etc folder there is an interface config. When i change it, it will hellp?

It is set by your PC it is using DHCP (automatic IP assignment, if your PC is setup like that). But if it is the IP address you should be able to connect to it via your browser using that IP address.
If you are using our firmware you can set the ip address to manual and use a fixed IP addres in the LAN setup menu.
But why don't you just connect your nwsp1 to your router ? Then you router will assign an ip address assuming it has dhcp enabled. Typically a router is setup to assig IP addresses starting with 192.168.xxx.xxx in a lan but maybe you hae changed that.

Ok. Firstly i enabled DHCP on my router secondly i connected lacie disk to the router and... nothing happend :) unfortunately my networkspace is still unavable n my network i have no idea what else i can do.

if you installed as instructed and used the default files for sda5 then it shopuld get an ip address automatic.
The system name will fvdw-base
You could try use in your browser http://fvdwsl-base

If that doesn't work then you will have to do an ip scan. Which range did you define for dhcp in your router ?
