Old SPD8020: reset webgui

Old SPD8020: reset webgui

Postby memonkee » Mon Apr 27, 2020 2:11 pm

Hi there,
i just "rediscovered" my old SPD8020 and found out that i cant remember things about it.

At least i found out that it uses a static ip adress, and that the putty-connection with root works. But i cant login to the webgui.

I couldnt find a "reset_adminpassword" file in /usr/bin ... so i never changed that ...

part of boot.log:
Code: Select all
fvdw-sl NAS firmware
This is fvdw-sl version: fvdw-sl 14.0
built on: December 23 2012

How can i reset the password for the webgui?

PS: i couldnt reach the unit via smb (maybe because of SMB1?!) and couldnt find a "/share/1000/public" folder on it
Code: Select all
ls /share/1000:
Expansion_Driv_1
lost+found
mt-daapd

The default username for web interface is: admin-nas and password: admin

If you changed the default you can restore them using procedure described here https://plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1971

About smb1
Windows 10 has it disabled by default. You can enable it in install/remove windows components
