Hi alf47df,
I assume your NAS Synology has a samba server (or an NFS server).
Just mounting the remote shares is needed on the second NAS (Philips) with the sub-menu "Add remote shares" from the backup menu.
Normally, your NAS Synology and its available samba shares will be detected automatically. if not (that can happen with small NAS like SPD8020), you must make a manual data entry.
Note : the login to used, is an account defined in the NAS Synology with the appropriate permissions (write if you want to backup toward this NAS).
After mounting the shares, you should see in the dropdown boxes of the backup menu, the following items : 192.168.x.y-smb-sharename where 192.168.x.y is the IP address of your NAS Synology.
