windows 10 drive mapping to SPD8020 v14

Hi,

I can't connect some newer laptops using Windows 10 anymore.
I get an error message saying that SMB1 is unsecure and that I need SMB2.
Do any of the later version of the firmware support SMB2? If so, where can I download it.

indeed windows 10 be default disabled smb1.
But you can enable in windows setup.

In fvdw-sl-17-0 a samba server is used that only supports smb1. In the next release there will be an upgrade of the samba server to support smb2 and 3. However this will not be available for spd8020 and nwsp1. This because these devices have only 16 MB of RAM and can not run the newer samba version.

If you wan to use your spd8020 with windows 10 you will have to enable sm1 protocol in windows 10

Hi Berno,

Making a paypall account is not difficult, but as alternative I could sent an invoice via paypal that you can pay without having an account. If you want that, let me know the amount you want to donate. I assume I can use the email address you used to register on plugout.net

I'm running version 16.0. Everything worked great with Win7. I have now updated 3 PCs to Win 10. I can access the webadmin on all of them. Two of them can see the Philips 8020 the other one cannot. I have opened the firewalls, and enabled SMB1 client and rebooted without success. Given that one computer can use the Philips what else have I missed? I've been fiddling for 2 days now and it's driving me crazy!
