I understand, but I thought that maybe Philips has paid Marvell something to develop this main board and software for the the Philips application. In the boot log you can see that they use the "philips" board.
Indeed Philips is selling more and more OEM products and that doesn't always improve quality. With selling the remaining CE business to Funai en last year the TV to TPD there is not much left from the former big CE division of Philips. Pity that we lost that game.

I'm sure "the board" has no clue where to take the fine of european community for the illegal TV panel deals. More than 500 Mio €.
TV created losses, rest CE is profitable. Now Philips becomes a kitchen company. I'm wondering when they sell this business.
