Its running now for more then 1 day on my spd8020 without failing.
Attached the new patched version version
To install it unpack it in the fvdw share
(remove first in this share any other file with name transmission-daemon)
Access the spd8020 with Putty via SSH
type at the command line

cp /share/1000/fvdw/transmission-daemon /usr/bin/
chmod 755 /usr/bin/transmission-daemon
Ps you can only use this binary in combination with fvdw-sl-10-0
