update 9 mislukt op philips nas

Sorry this is in dutch,

vandaag heb een update op mijn philips gedaan van versie 7 naar versie 9, alles leek goed te gaan echter de twonky media server start niet meer op en ook de beheer pagina van de nas in mijn geval 192.168.0.105 is niet meer te openen.

ik kreeg bij elke stap van de update geslaagd wat kan er fot gegaan zijn?

Hallo Kees, spijtig te horen dat het bij jou niet vlekkeloos gegaan is. das vreemd want al meer zo'n 100 mensen hebben het gedaan zonder problemen.

De update doet in principe niets met met de Twonky server, de files daarvan staan in een aparte directory die onveranderd blijft bij de update.
Als Twonky voor de update werkte moet hij nu ook werken
Wel is het zo dat bij de update de setting voor automatisch opstarten van de server bij boot overschreven wordt.
Die moet je dus opnieuw instellen. Aaangezien je de webinterface niet kunt openen neem ik aan dat je dit nog niet gedaan hebt.

PS na de upgrade moet je je browser afsluiten en weer opstarten om de cache leeg te maken, doe je dat niet dan werkt eea niet omdat er dan delen van de oude firmware die nog in het geheugen van je browser aanwezig zijn worden gebruikt.

Is de spd8020 wel zichtbaar in je LAN ? wellicht heeft je router besloten een ander IP adres toe te kennen and de spd8020.
Als er geen IP adres wordt toegekend dan is er iets anders mis.
Als de sp8020 boot dan begint dat met knipperen van de blauwe power led, wat later in de boot procedure kippert die met activiteit van de harde schijf. Het duurt een paar minuten voordat dat klaar is. De blauwe power led knippert nu niet meer.
Blijft de blauwe led knipperen (vaste frequentie, dus niet afhankelijk van disk aktiviteit) dan zijn we verder van huis. Maar goed vertel eerst maar eens hoe dat booten gaat

ps wel graag voortaan in engels als dat kan, dan hebben anderen die mogelijk hetzelfde probleem hebben er ook wat aan

Hello everyone,

I will try to continue this conversation in english but this is not a daily routine for me, so forgive me my faults.

All the folders on the nas are reachable and i can see all and open files on it, the router did not change the ip adress it is still the same
But i can't reach the maintance page of the spd8020 , of cource i cleard the cache (i did a restart of the computer) now at the start of the nas the led flashes at boot and a little later it is continues on.

The good news is that all folders are reachable and that the blue led stops flashing after boot. That means the boot process seems to be completed and the the LAN interface is up and running (otherwise you could not see the folders).

How do you try to open the webinterface ?
If the IP address of the spd8020 is 192.168.0.105 then http://192.168.0.105 should do it..
You can also use the name that is visible when you open the shares via explorer, for instance if you have given the nas the name on the network "spd8020" then http://spd8020 should also do it.

thats indeed strange, when the web server isn't running then we need to try to access it via SSH to see what is wrong. Are you familiar with using Putty (thats an ssh client that runs under windows ) ?

mmm...then it becomes more difficult, are you using windows 7 ?

then click start and choose the "uitvoeren" and enter cmd.exe that should open a dos window on your PC
