Firefox won't show me all the options..

Firefox won't show me all the options..

Postby beertje23 » Sun Sep 29, 2013 8:06 am

Goodday.

When I want to change some options, for example add a shared folder on my SPD8020. It won't show my shared folders at all when I use firefox. For both of my SPD's, no matter if I'm in Linux or Windows.
It does work in Chrome. Can anyone enlighten me? Ofcourse I cleared cache etc..

Thx

Hi beertje23,

Sorry, I don't understand well what you means.

What you feedback it's amazing, because I use also FF and I just made this sequence successfully : create a new share (private) and then this new share is listing in the main share menu and I can see the new share from the samba share.

What FF version do you use ? and
It won't show my shared folders
do you mean from a remote host ? or in the web interface ?
And what firmware version do you use ?

Hi,

In the web interface, when I click on shared folders in the main menu, it does not show any of my folders I made in the past. So I can't add a new folder because ff wont show me the option in the shared folder menu. Same goes for the NFS Server, when I click NFS Server in the main menu, same thing, nothing.

Ff version for my linux is 24.0, canonical - 1.0
Ff version for my win7 is 23.0.1

It has been awhile that I have used the web interface, because both my SPD's are always on and doing their jobs and the menu's have always worked in the past.

Like it seems that you are a new member, could you explain how did you upgrade your NAS ? :
Before installing version 14.0,
- I assume that all was ok ?
- did you use the original Philips firmware ?

Joined: Fri Oct 28, 2011, so not really a new member :-D Never had the need to post anything, only to get info and new releases

I have my SPD's about 3-4 years now, and have used a couple of older releases during those years.

And as I mentioned, it has always worked before perfectly. :thumbup

And there's no panic, cuz I can still make changes in Chrome. I'm just wondering why it won't work in ff now

Ok I just noted your posts number!

But about FF it is amazing : no other member seems have the same issue

To see what is wrong, you can use the firebug addons. Do you know the firebug addons ?
