hey guys i install this on my segate fw 18.1 everything fine update to 18.2 , then patch 05 im geting the error -17 when i tried to reinstall minidnla. because after the update is like every addon is gone

I moved your post in the right forum as you have a seagate nas.

Error code 17 (and not -17 ???) should mean the firmware failed to install the mpd package (minidlna and mpd use some common libraries).

To check this, enable the debug mode

Code: Select all: debugon

and try again to install minidlna. Then post

Code: Select all: cat /var/log/messages

Note: deactivate the debug mode, to restore nas performance

Code: Select all: debugoff

because after the update is like every addon is gone

of course this should not happen ! :scratch

every addon even smb got kill , i have to install everything again but only smb was install , every other thing is giving -17 , and the bootjobs is not even activating the install bottom

If I check on our side in the web server log, it seems you have a bad Internet access because in many cases addon package is partially downloaded.

Any how I think there is a bad nas configuration : in your log you have too many often this sequence
