yes it is as you say, it inverts them and from bios it emulates them because it comes out written ide: disk name even if it is sata .... I do not know but it loads your system ... now I have taken a pcie-ex 4x card that has 6 sata ports with the hope that they will be recognized by the system and test by connecting the hd! if I have to do some tests or anything else, tell me as soon as I can. Family and work permitting are at your disposal

this is the card

I'm still waiting for the expansion card from ebay for the moment I'm trying to insert everything in a mini case and then expand with that of the lacie ... at the level of experience I notice an impressive speed compared to the lacie (also due to the higher power of the system) I have nothing to report as soon as the rest arrives I try to insert the hd that I have on the lacie and start it with all the slots occupied and I will keep you informed ....
the card has to come from china so 2 full months to get it here with me

Hi guys after a long time the second sata card arrived (the first was lost and I had to buy it from elsewhere)
at the moment I have only two HDs available (1 with the system and one for the archive ... now the system I always keep it on the sata of the motherboard while to test the archive I put it on the card that has 6 sata ports ... for test at startup this appears and the system is planted

It means sda is assigned to the wrong disk

Two options
1. Move system disk to position were it is recognized as sda.

2. Change kernel and root file system to make it work even if system disk is not sda.
