attached a new kernel that should give correct name to the esata drive

You can load it via fvdw-sl console for testing or write it to sda6 for permanent booting with this kernel
Put it in the fvdw shared folder (unpack the zip file), be sure to use sda6 in this command !
Code: Select all
dd if=/direct-usb/fvdw/UIMAGE-466-KIRKWOOD-26 of=/dev/sda6
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Nice to heard you. :-D

What do you mean with "Is better that autoupdate is disable?". If it is the auto-update firmware feature, I advice you to keep it : the feature displays a warning and the new version is installed only if the user asks it.

Otherwise, I go to build a new rollup patch to version 17.0 with the last new files, as currently you must not install it (you would overwrite some changes).

Ok, I keep the autoupdate activated.
There is no hurry but I have detected other bugs.
Do I write them here or do I open a new post?
They concern the activation of the afp server, the connection of USB disks and the disassembly of the raid.

Hi Aled72

Yes I'd rather you open a new topic (still in the d2nw2 forum).

So I ended to update the rollup patch for version 17.0.

I go to send you a pm to check if you still have esata support and also setup job does not fail when it checks the usb disk after installing the package.

Note about usb/esata behaviour, please to read carefully the help page of usb-disks menu ("Safe Remove chapter"). There is an important warning
