Hi! I just donated 5 euro for this amazing software. Keen to download Samba 4.

But my donation has come through PayPal via my work email, which is different to the one I am signed in with.

Thanks mate, working really well.

This software has completely saved a D2N2 I received with a very broken disk - not detected by BIOS at all.

Replaced the disk, but of course I don't have the Lacie firmware, so I was stuck. Tried to find instructions to restore the Lacie capsule to the disk, the Lacie recovery software didn't work, and while I found instructions for other Lacie devices, I could not find how to partition the disk and dd enough of the capsule to allow the Lacie recovery to work.

But following the instructions for FVDW-SL, it took the totally blank disk and basically made everything work automatically. Brilliant! I now have a functional NAS for the price of a replacement disk.

Got Samba 4 up an running down, and Windows 10 loves it. Set up a NFS share for my backup software, it loves it too.
