Hi fvdw,
I resetted the SD card with usbit176, whoch deletes all existing data and partitions. It's blank and factory new.
After this, Windows asks to format it, which I did in FAT32.
That's all.
The speed with the RPi 4 is very good, appr 100 Mb/s in reading & writing doing a file copy (1,5GB) from a SSD to the NAS drive vice versa via Gigabit network and USB3 connection on the Pi.
The only struggeling is on the support of exFAT file system. I got many "lost" files, wenn copying several files in a batch.
I assume it's a matter of the thrid party driver and the conflicts in file permissions.
The solution will be most probably a file system on a linux compatible EXT4.
Now the only problem is my 5TB data pool on a 8TB disk .....
