Can't access from Windows 2008 Standard Server to 5Big - Fix

Hi,

i'm trying to connnect Windows 2008 Standard Server to 5Big Network vs1.

I've uploaded images files with samba configuration and error.

Seems your windows 2008 server us using wrong syntax to connect
Did you try also with ntlm_v1 enabled?

Yes, i've activated checkbox "Enable Ntlm_v1 authentication protocol", with the same result.

How can i fix it ?

From the screen shot of the webinterface you posted I concluded you installed samba 4.9.4.
The problem must be in the setup of your windows server 2008 not using the correct syntax for smb 2 or 3 protocol. It is a rather old version and maybe not compatible with newer samba versions. As on my and many other pc's it works oke with windows 7,8 and 10 this seems a likely explanation. I suggest you use google to search for the message you found in samba log. I did a quick search and found some hits:reporting similar problems with windows server.

you could try to disable smb1 protocol on the nas and windows server and be sure smb2 is activated on windows server 2008
