Hello Razile,
there are two ways to install the FVDW firmware:
1) add the system disk to a linux system and install the firmware manually
2) use the fvdw console to interrupt the boot process and boot standalone linux to prepare the disk

get the FVDW firmware and the description here:
http://plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1867#p14949

if you want to use the fvdw console look at this:

the network address 192.168.1.252 is only used by the standalone kernel to prepare the firmware disk.

when the fvdw firmware is booted, it gets an ip address from the dhcp server. Ask the dhcp server which ip address it assigned to your nas.

even with ip scan i cant find it...so i will explain ho i installed it, maybe ive made some mistakes,

ive tryed using the guide that you sent me, but that modified script didnt work for me so ive modified further, ive added in the folder 2big1 the files "KERNELVERSION" and "NAME" and in the file KERNELVERSION ive written UIMAGE-26394-2BIG1-22-standalone, and in the file NAME ive written xfvdw-sl-15-3-2big1-30may2014.bin, the n in the script ive modified the lines that said firmware.iso in formware.bin (since this firmware is in .bin), after ive made these modification everything installed properly but as ive already said i can acces the nas only with telnet, polz help :please

sorry, I didn't explain all necessary steps to unzip the package.

Get the latest firmware release as
xfvdw-sl-15-3-2big1-30may2014.part1.rar
xfvdw-sl-15-3-2big1-30may2014.part2.rar
xfvdw-sl-15-3-2big1-30may2014.part3.rar

Unpack it using 7zip to
xfvdw-sl-15-3-2big1-30may2014.bin
(btw this is the file which is used by the firmware update procedure)

Unpack it using 7zip to
xfvdw-sl-15-3-2big1-30may2014

Unpack it using 7zip into the 2big1 folder in fvdw-sl-console-64\tftp\
You will get the following files:
DATABASE
KERNELVERSION
MD5
MD5DATABASE
MD5KERNEL
NAME
PLATFORM
UIMAGE-3135-BIG1-2
xfvdw-sl-15-3-2big1-30may2014.img
The installation procedure only needs three files
UIMAGE-3135-BIG1-2
xfvdw-sl-15-3-2big1-30may2014.img
sda5-lacie-nwsp.tar.gz
The other files are used by the firmware update procedure to verify the use of the correct image.

At last you have to copy the file sda5-lacie-nwsp.tar.gz from the directory fvdw-sl-console-64\tftp\nwsp2 to the directory fvdw-sl-console-64\tftp\2big1. (Remark: Future releases will contain the tar.gz file so it will not longer be necessary to copy it)

Now you are ready to start the console installation procedure.

There is no need to modify my fvdw-2big1-installer.sh shell script, I've tested it with my 2big1 and it worked.

Sorry for the inconvienience.
