Installing via virtual desktop - directly connected to host

Postby variantfrog » Thu Dec 10, 2020 5:23 pm

Hello,

I'm trying to install the firmware to my Lacie cloudbox connected directly to my mac (also have tried over the network). I'm running parallels inorder to be able to run the fvdw-sl console.

I've entered the IP address of my NAS and attempted to install the Kirkwood version of the firmware.

I receive the following message from the command prompt.

UNC paths are not supported. Defaulting to Windows directory.
provided by fvdw
waiting for u-boot
'Clunc-opne' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file
'nc' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Any suggestions?

Also fvdw-sl -assistant couldn't find my NAS.

Appreicate any help you can offer.
