Do you mean
- how to get access on the router web-interface from the WAN because this one is accessible only from LAN
- or how to set up the router to get access on some NAS servers

Hi the best way is to use web explorer. It is in the web tools menu.
To get internet access, you must on your router forward the port 443 for https connection (or the port 80 if you don't want use an encrypted connection).
How to forward ports you can find on the internet.

You can do it now as you are member of donators group but first you have to enter your plugout username and password in web interface > system management > setup> tab firmware interface

If you want to use web explorer via internet read the help page in the fvdw-sl webinterface of the web explorer page. There you can read how to set up web explorer and how to access it via internet.

If you want to access samba server with your phone it is only possible via lan. You will need then a client on your phone that supports samba protocol.

If you want to access web explorer via your lan you can use a web browser on your phone and use
Code: Select all
http://ip of your nas/webexplorer
( or https if you have set up web explorer to uses https). Read help page of web explorer how to set up web explorer, eq which folders to make visible or which users have access.

You can not increase it, it is dependent on other servers used on the nas, cpu power and available ram of the nas, and the file size of the files you want yo copy, many small files is slower because of extra i/o needed for file headers.
On a lacie cloudbox writing speed to the nas will not be higher than 20-25MB/s, reading from the nas can reach for large files something between 30-35 MB/s
