Is your NAS in the same subnet as your browser? I observed the same behaviour when I was accessing PMS over wifi, while the wifi network had another subnet than the wired network. (With a router in between, of course)

192.168.0.10 is the NAS address, local ip
192.168.0.10:32400/web is the plex on the nas
and right now i'm accessing my network via vpn, and i can access local addresses
aaannnd you're right

how do you disable transcoding to avoid any crash or error ??

Indeed, according to plex forum, there is no way to disable transcoding.
But you can set some options so that transcoding fails quickly (eg. timeout)

after playing with the setup (it took 2 days to scan my library) i noticed that kodi/spmc does not stream correctly the movies, don't really know if this was part of it but i would like to uninstall it... how do i do it ?
how do i uninstall the plex server ?
edit: plexmediaserver uninstall
