can i install plex on this machine ?

is there any way/benefit to install plex on this machine, currently runs only samba and is for movies/series... so locally i view them from kodi, is there any way to install plex (no transcoding) and remote view the content ?

hello,

i transfered fvdw-sl-16.1-pms-dwld-package-31jan17.zip to the share/1000/fvdw folder (where the other addons are)

then i installed it via firmware update / upload patch and selected the addon and put "unzip" in the next text box


then via putty ran plexmediaserver plugout-login yourlogin:password (with my login info)

then plexmediaserver install,

after that probably i missed python, and installed it via the instructions on this thread

You would not had to do it as plex script install python..

What you may do :

-stop plex
- uninstall it

and try again to install it
