Cannot access cloudbox

I put into the cloudbox an old drive that had the fvdw firmware installed, but the drive is not booting and not discoverable on the LAN

I loaded the standalone kernel to do some checks and it seems the /sda7/boot.log files were not there.

I wrote the firmware to the sda1-2-7 partitions but it is still not booting. ('/sda7/boot.log': No such file or directory/' error still)

I can see my files in sda8 but I cannot ssh (connection refused) in order to get them.

What steps can I follow to resolve (I just need the files).
