It should indeed bij active after power failure but you can check it in server status tab in webinterface which service us running. I guess afp is running otherwise you wouldn't see the nas on your mac.
My question to you is has the user you are using ti access the folder the correct rights to access the folder (user menu).
Be aware that linux uses case sensitive names and passwords, Admin is different from admin

i understand the question about admin to overcome this i had create a different user with no result because the service it s closed this its what i understand

Can you install putty ssh client in your mac?

I prefer to use putty instead of web console in this case
