ok that looks fine,
lets then create partitions on sdb

connect to ssh via putty and on command line give command

Now fdisk will start, I assume the disk has no partitions
create the partitions
in fdisk give the commands

About the left and the right HDDs... I think SATA cables wrong connected inside the device.

so the disks are setup fine now

only we need to find out the right boot command for the bootloader to let it boot form disk

switch it off, and open u-boot console
when you have that try these commands
