which version of fvdw-sl

I want to install fvdw-sl on lacie5big. I don't have a version installed: which version should I use?

Hello,
The same question as colleague here. Im new to this forum and also have 5big Network 2 with old version firmware 1.3. So I assume I also can start with this version viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3086 or ?
Question for installation. I have 5x2tb HDDs in raid 5. In installation quide I found that first time I should install firmware on the first drive. Is it possible then to restore raid after installation or should I install the firmware on completely another HDD ?

If you want to install fvdw-sl then that is the correct version for first install.
If you Raid5 is made with lacie firmware then it will be lost if you install fvdw-sl firmware. This because lacie uses a different partition setup and filesystem then our firmware. Of course you can setup a new raid5 in our firmware.
