e-sata Disk cannot be formatted

Hi all,
i have added 2 500GB with esata connection and usb power.

but when i try to format i have error in attch.

Where is the error?

Hi

What fw version do you have on your NAS ? and I assume you installed its latest patch (for some years ago, I fixed some bug about esata feature)

Now when a 5big2 (and 2big2) reboots to perform the setup job, the esata does not have the same kernel name (/dev/!). For example you made hot-plug with several esata disks.

So try to set again an initialized setup job after a nas rebooting with your two esata disks plugged.

On version 18.2, there is no fix about esata disk and patch05 does no change on this feature :
