i'm new in the NAS area.....
I have installed twonky - everythink works fine.
I forwarted the port to my dyndns - ok
I have access from extern to my twonky - but also everybody else who kows my ip and port
So i activate the user accout in twonky.
Works fine in the intranet but i not be able to connect with 8player pro or other DLNA viewer frpm my iphone
because there is no configuration for user and password......

Or what is the best way to stream photos over the internet

i take now the SMB Protocol - with user and password
And for the extern access i take vpn.

Works well
