So you can go on with your nas, leave it at static ip for the moment, I will think over why we cannot use dynamic ip on your LAN. But I now go to do some other things first

ps please note that have to install a roll up patch for fvdw-sl-17-0 and also enter you plugout username and plugout password in system management setup webpage of the webinterface to be able to install addons

Sorry fvdw, a little question.
I don't see raid6 function...and I think its becouse uou can't use the first disk in a raid volume...right?
Do you think that is not possible doing a raid 6 even in the next release?

Hi, currently the firmware doesn't support raid6.
But yiu can include all 5 disks in raid5. Of course all five shoukd have preferrable same size to get maximum raid size
