Hi

Currently we do not yet implemented raid6 feature because a logical raid6 has a too bad impact on r/w performance with a weak cpu.

Yesterday I'd made a Raid5 config with all 5 disks :thumbup.
So, if one of the 5 disks died...(maybe the first :whistle ) I can boot anyway?

if disk sd[b-e] died in all case your nas can boot
if sda is corrupted in your raid, the nas can boot
if sda is dead, the nas can not reboot.
You need in this case to use fvdw-sl console to set a new disk and make a basic command to re-assemble the raid

Clear, I tried to read the Help in Disk setup page of the Web page, but not found info about "how to" rebuilding raid after a disk fail.
Have you a guide, so in case i don't disturb you in the future?

Hi

All is explained in the help page when you open the volume menu (by clicking on the volume name link from the main disks setup menu).

Of course this won't be used if sda is a faulty disk.

Hi

It is no so simple.

First, we want to use a common boot way between all supported nas.
About Nand support, it is not used to boot the nas but to restore the firmware (factory reset or diskless nas version)
