So due to a recently discovered security vulnerability, at least one of the BitTorrent trackers I use is banning all Transmission versions below the newest of 2.93. I've updated the version of Transmission running under the fvdw firmware on my 5big Network vs2 using the gui before and tried to do so again now, but either it's not detecting there is a new version (if it queries a repository), its necessary to trigger it to update the repository before the gui update option is available, or the fvdw firmware would have to be updated or patched to recognize the new Transmission version and allow install.

Regardless of the exact cause, I really need help getting this done or else I'll soon be unable to use my NAS to run torrents at all. If the only way to get this done at all (or quickly) is to SSH into the NAS and do it manually I'm ok with that but don't know enough to venture into that on my own. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I built an update package for the next fw version with version 2.93 but it can not be used directly on version 17.0 as it restores the download location feature. This can be done because next version prevents to write on the fs partition.
I go to built a package for previous fw version.

Yes, I noticed this new version, but version 2.94 mainly fixes compilation problems. So I was not in hurry to release it.
I go to see with fvdw to do it ;)
